Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is reminding business persons that the following taxes are due on Friday, September 15, 2017:
- Estimated Corporate Income Tax (3rd quarter)
- Self Employed Statutory Payments (3rd quarter)
- Minimum Business Tax (2nd Half) of $30,000
Business persons are being encouraged to use the online option which facilitates the filing and payment of all major tax types, including Income Tax, Minimum Business Tax, Payroll Taxes, Property Tax and General Consumption Tax. Customers can log on to the Tax Portal at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm from the convenience of their home or office, at any time, to pay the various taxes and fees using a KeyCard, MasterCard or Visa credit card.
In addition to the online option, business persons are further reminded that tax payments may be made at any of the 29 tax offices across the island. Cheque payments may also be made using the electronic drop boxes located in select tax offices.
Persons are being urged to honour their tax obligations by making these payments on or before September 15 to avoid interest and penalties being automatically applied through TAJ’s Revenue Administration Information System (RAiS).
