Employers Annual Return (S02) due April 3

Employers Annual Return (S02) due April 3

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is reminding ALL employers that their Employers Annual Return (S02) for 2017 is due on April 3, 2018. This is as a result of the usual due date of March 31 falling on the weekend. This ReturnMUST be filed electronically via the administration’s Revenue Administration Information System (RAiS) on the website

Employers and their agents are reminded that a business must be registered for eServices in RAiS to allow for the S02 to be filed online. Taxpayers have the option of utilizing the e-Tax Spot in select Tax Offices, these are dedicated areas which allow taxpayers to file online with support of tax personnel.

These offices include: Cross Roads, Kingston, Montego Bay, Spanish Town, St. Ann’s Bay and Mandeville Tax Offices. The Constant Spring location provides even greater support through its eFiling centre, where up to six (6) taxpayers can file at a time with the support of TAJ staff.

Additionally, employers are advised that they must ensure that the form is properly completed, to include the TRN and NIS for the employees listed.

Employers and/or their agents will continue to get assistance and guidance from TAJ personnel on the registration and filing process, as well as to complete the form. Additionally, support is available through the Customer Care Centre at 1-888-TAX-HELP (829-4357) or TAJ’s Special Taxpayer Assistance Programme (STAP) sessions island-wide up to the end of March.  A schedule of the remaining sessions is available at

Taxpayers who wish to make the most of the free service are reminded to take with them all business related documents, including their Taxpayer Registration Number (TRN), bank statements, purchase invoices, receipts, sales records, utility bills, wage records and any other records that can be used to verify income and expenses.
