Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) will begin Saturday operations at select Tax Offices island-wide from 10:00am-4:00pm beginning March 11, through to the end of April 2017. The Saturday operations on March 11, 18, 25 and April 1, 8, 22, 29 will allow taxpayers to visit any of the following locations:
- Constant Spring Tax Office
- Montego Bay Tax Office
- Spanish Town Tax Office
- May Pen Tax Office
- Mandeville Tax Office
- Savanna-la-mar Tax Office
- St. Ann’s Bay Tax Office
The Portmore Tax Office will continue its regular Saturday opening.
Taxpayers will be able to make payments of any kind, such as property taxes; conduct motor vehicle transactions; process driver’s licences; file tax returns; as well get assistance through our taxpayer service teams. Audit and Compliance services will not be offered on Saturdays.
As TAJ continues to encourage more persons to file online, e-Tax Spots are available at these locations, except Portmore, and will be available during the Saturday opening. These are dedicated areas that allow taxpayers to file online with the support of TAJ personnel. As a result, customers will have even greater support this tax season through this e-filing option.
Business persons can take along their business documents to the Special Taxpayer Assistance Programme sessions at these Tax Offices during the Saturday operations. They will get assistance to register for online services, file their returns and complete the revised forms, which now reflect recent legislative changes, and also capture Income Tax and contributions more easily.
