    Clients who use the TAJ Enterprise Portal are responsible for the security of their user name and password.   • Credit Card Fraud.
    Credit card fraud and misuse is a growing problem. If anyone else has access to your credit cards and uses them to pay any fees, duties or taxes in your name and address, with or without your permission, you are responsible.

    We work against credit card fraud, and we try to protect our taxpayers in every way possible. The Tax Administration does not condone credit fraud, but we will however not be liable for any losses suffered by clients due to credit card misuse or fraud.
     

Privacy & Security Policy

Your privacy is important to Tax Administration. This is why; we are committed to the Tax Administration’s Privacy Promise for taxpayers, which is as follows:
  • Tax Administration Privacy Promise for taxpayers.
    While information is the cornerstone of our ability to provide superior service, our most important asset is our taxpayers' trust. Keeping taxpayer information secure, and using it only as our taxpayers would want us to, is a top priority for all of us at Tax Administration. Here then, is our promise to our individual taxpayers:
     
    1. We will safeguard, according to strict standards of security and confidentiality, any information our taxpayers share with us.
    2. We will limit the collection and use of taxpayer information to the minimum we require to deliver superior service to our taxpayers that include advising our taxpayers about our products, services and other opportunities, and to administer our business.
    3. We will permit only authorized employees, who are trained in the proper handling of taxpayer information, to have access to that information. Employees who violate our Privacy Promise will be subject to our normal disciplinary process.
    4. We will not reveal taxpayer information to any external organization unless we have previously informed the taxpayer in disclosures or agreements, been authorized by the taxpayer, or are required by law or our regulators.
    5. We will always maintain control over the confidentiality of our taxpayer information.
    6. Whenever we hire other organizations to provide support services, we will require them to conform to our policy standards and to allow us to audit them for compliance.
    7. We will attempt to keep taxpayer files complete, up to date, and accurate. We will tell our taxpayers how and where to conveniently access their account information (except when we're prohibited by law), and how to notify us about errors that we will promptly correct.
